On 27 January 2017, Center of Support for Economic Initiatives (SEI), jointly with Entrepreneurship Development Foundation (EDF), organized a round table in Baku to discuss the findings of the Monitoring Report on " Balanced development of the regions," one of the directions of the Development Concept "Azerbaijan - 2020: Outlook for the Future."
The round table was opened by Azer Mehtiyev, SEI Chairman. Zahir Ahmadov, Representative of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and Sabit Baghirov, EDF President delivered the welcome address.
Rovshan Aghayev, SEI Deputy Chairman, reported the findings of the monitoring and answered the questions from the floor. The presentation was followed by questions and answers.
Parviz Aliyev, Representative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nuraddin Eynullayev, and Hikmat Nabiyev, Representatives of the Ministry of Economy gave their opinions on the Monitoring Report.
The meeting was attended by experts, representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Economy, local NGOs, and the Swiss Embassy in Azerbaijan.
