On 29 December 2016, Economic Researches Center, jointly with Entrepreneurship Development Foundation, organized a round table in Baku to discuss the findings of the Monitoring Report on "Environmental protection and ecological issues," one of the directions of the Development Concept "Azerbaijan - 2020: Outlook for the Future."
The round table was opened by Qalib Bayramov, ERC Chairman. Zahir Ahmadov, Representative of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and Sabit Baghirov, President of Entrepreneurship Development Foundation delivered the welcome address.
Sevil Yuzbashova, Chair of "EkoAlem" Public Union reported the findings of the monitoring. The discussion was followed by questions and answers.
The event was attended by environmental experts and representatives from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Azersu JSC, local NGOs, and the Swiss Embassy in Azerbaijan.
