04.04.2014.The round table discussion on the topic of “Entrepreneurship enviroment in Azerbaijan and discussion of addtional activities for the development of entrepreneurship” was held in the framework of Entrepreneurship Develoment Foundation’s (EDF) Micro Enterprises Support Project by financial support of US Agency for International Development (USAID) . Event organized by Small and Medium Enterprise Development Support Center (SMEDS) took place in the conference room of the National Confederation for Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic. Representatives of different ministries, business associations, local and international companies as well as lawyers and field experts particpated at the meeting.
Sabit Bagirov, president of EDF greeted the guests, shared information about the project and gave presentation on topic of “Discussion of addtional activities for the development of entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan”.
The second speaker Ilkin Garayev, president of SMEDS gave presentation on topic of “ Ways of decreasing number of procedures and time for the online registration”
Program continued with discussion of the topics.
After the break event participants were intoduced to the next topic “Ways of simlyfing procedures to join the Electric Power Supply” presented by Sabit Bagirov.
The event was concluded with overall discussion and Q&A session.
