On October 28, 2016in the Conference Room of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic (AEC), within the framework of the Micro-Enterprise Support Project, the Support for Economic Initiatives Public Union (SEI) and the Entrepreneurship Development Foundation (EDF) held the round table dedicated to some of the problems that hinder the development of entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurs, representatives of state agencies, independent experts, and representatives of local NGOs attended the training. Azer Mehtiyev - Chairman of SEI made an opening speech and informed about the problems faced by small entrepreneurs in the country and measures are taken to solve them.
Vugar Zeynalov - vice-president of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic welcomed round table participants and spoke about the importance of the issues on the agenda for entrepreneurs.
Then, SEI expert Abil Bayramov made the presentation on the theme: "How does the violation of the presumption of innocence affect the court proceedings attended by entrepreneurs and their business?" After discussions, SEI expert Samir Aliyev made the second presentation on the theme: "Farmlands registration: Were the problems solved?"
At the end of the round table, Samir Aliyev presented a series of recommendations on the simplification of procedures for the registration of agricultural lands and the elimination of additional costs.
