On June 03, 2016 Economic Development" Expert Council under the Council of State Support to NGOs held a meeting in an expanded format with the participation of all members of the Council.

The main purpose of the meeting was to prepare Council's opinion on a number of documents related to “Main directions of strategic road map on national economy and major sector" prepared by the Assistant service on economic reforms under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. These documents are as follows:

1. Utilities: electricity, gas, water.

2. Heavy industry and mechanical engineering.

3. Affordable housing and so on.

4. Agricultural and processing of agricultural products.

5. Perspectives for the national economy.

6. Small and medium-sized enterprises consumer goods production and other productions.

7. Oil and gas (including chemical products)

8. Logistics and trade.

9. Financial services

During the meeting, above-mentioned documents were presented to the members of the Expert Council and members are called to prepare Council’s opinion.
