Kenan Aslanli was a guest lecturer at the University of Applied Science in Vienna, Austria (2013-2015) and research partner for Azerbaijan in the research projects at the Research Centre for East European Studies of Bremen University (2009-2013) on the energy policy. Kenan was a lecturer at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and private Khazar University’s (Baku) summer schools.

He has actively cooperated with Public Finance Monitoring Center, Azerbaijan-Turkey Business Association, Open Government Partnership, International Budget Partnership, European Commission and Asian Development Bank as a researcher and project coordinator.

He was an author or co-author of 8 books and more than 50 articles on Azerbaijan and post-soviet economies.
